Lesson Plans

The Center of Latin American Studies at KU has been on occasion awarded Fulbright-Hays Seminars to allow K-12 & Community College Teachers to travel abroad and study education throughout Latin America. During the summer of 2006 participants traveled to Guatemala, and in the summer of 2007, educators visited Argentina.

The Center also holds several workshops during the academic year that work to incorporate Latin America into K-12 classrooms. Below, you will find links to lesson plans developed by the Fulbright participants who went to Guatemala, as well as lesson plans geared generally toward Latin America that are products of several teacher workshops.
